The TIMARS Multimodal Trailer is built for versatility, serving both as a road transport solution for e.g. Bridge Erection Boats (BIB) and as a launch and retrieval platform. To support this dual function, it features a retractable drawbar that can be raised or lowered as needed – manually but also automatically while launching to remove forces from the truck.
This design also makes it possible to transport protruding cargo on the towing vehicle at the same time.
For effortless launch and recovery operations, the trailer is engineered to be waterproof up to a depth of two meters.
Equipped with air suspension, the Multimodal Trailer maintains a consistent height regardless of the load. This system also allows for height-adjustments and rear tilting, making launching and retrieving smoother and more efficient.
